Uusi peitto - New blanket

Virkattu Dyyni-peitto valmistui. Huom! Peiton nimellä ei ole mitään tekemistä samannimisen kirjan tai elokuvan kanssa. Hankin langat Englannista ennen kuin se erosi EU:sta. Aiemmin olen virkanut tämän aaltokuvioisen peiton ja myös peiton isoäidin nelioistä.

I finished crocheting my Dune blanket. Please note that the name of the blanket has nothing to do with the book or movie by the same name. Previously I have crocheted one Ripple blanket and a throw using grandma squares.

Mug warmers - Mukinsuojat

I crocheted two mug warmers, the red one for myself and another one as a gift to a friend. Measure your mug height, create the amount of chain stitches needed, and either crochet according to a pattern or just simply double crochet until the warmer reaches the desired length. These are quick to make.

Käsilaukku farkuista - Denim handbag

Vaikka ulkona on kova talvipakkanen, on kesä jo mielessä. Ompelin vanhoista farkuista kevyen käsilaukun kesäkäyttöön. Vuorina on hauska puuvillakangas, jossa teemana on ohjeistusta kaavojen käyttöön. Laukun takaosassa on hyödennetty farkkuhousujen taskua. Laukku on ommeltu ilman kaavaa.

Even though it's freezing outside, I am already thinking about summer. I sewed a lightweight handbag from old jeans for summer use with fun cotton fabric lining. The back of the bag has a pocket also from an old pair of jeans. I didn't use any pattern for the bag but just designed it myself.
