I knitted a winter sweater partially using this pattern.

Minua pyydettiin neulomaan golfmailan suojus. Netistä löytyi useita kuvia, vähän ohjeita, joten kehitin ohjeen mailalle #3 itse.

Lanka on 7 veljestä, neulottu suljettuna neuleena seuraavasti:

- Luo 36 s ja neulo 2 o 2 n 17 cm
- Neulo 1 krs oikein
- Lisää seuraavalla krs:lla yht. 10 s tasaisesti
- Neulo yht. 10 krs päävärillä ja aloita sen jälkeen raidoitus (valinnainen) - yht. 8 krs
- Neulo päävärillä 1 krs ja sen jälkeen aloita kavennukset: 1. ja 3. puikon alussa ja 2. ja 4. puikon lopussa 5x joka toisella kerroksella
- Kavenna vielä joka krs:lla 3x
- Vedä lanka viimeisten 14 s läpi ja päättele.

I was requested to knit golf club covers and came up with these instructions myself. They're for a golf club #3.

The yarn I used was "Seven brothers": 75% wool + 25% ployester and the needles were 3.5 mm which is the equivalent of 4 in UK and 9 in US.

- Cast on 36 stitches and knit 2, purl 2 (as a closed knit - as if you were knitting socks or mittens) until you reach the length of 17 cm.
- Knit one more round (no purl stitches).
- On the next round, add evenly 10 stitches altogether.
- Knit 10 rounds using the main color and then add the stripes to indicate the club number using another color. Here the stripes add up to 8 rounds.
- Knit one more round using the main color and then start decreasing by one stitch at the beginning of the 1st and 3rd needle and one stitch at the end of the 2nd and 4th needle every other round five times.
- Decrease as above three more times on every round.
- Pull the thread through the remaining 14 stitches and bind off.
- The pompom is optional.

Kastemekko - Baby's christening gown

Neuloin tämän kastemekon kummipojalle vuosia sitten, aikana, jolloin ei ollut tavanomaista ottaa selfieitä eikä kuvia omista töistä. Innokkaana valokuvaajana halusin kuitenkin ottaa kuvan itselleni muistoksi vaikka tausta olisi voinut olla kyllä toisenlainen.

It was many years ago that I knitted this christening gown for my godson. It was at the time when it wasn't commonplace to take selfies, or other photos of your craft or other work. As I was an eager photographer already then I'm happy that I remembered to photograph the gown as a keepsake for my hard work although the background could've been better.

I received a lovely gift from the Netherlands: these hand-made wool socks. Very elaborate work! Beautiful and warm socks.

Lämmittimet - Arm warmers

Kimaltavaa luonnonvalkoista lankaa jäi joulukoristeiden virkkauksen jäljilta ja neuloin kädenlämmittimet niille talvisille puseroille, joissa on 3/4-hihat. Toimistolla on aina sen verran vetoisaa, että lämmittimet ovat tarpeen. Langan kimalle ei oikein kuvassa näy.

I had some of the yarn left that I used for the Christmas decorations and decided to knit arm warmers for use with my wintry tops with 3/4 of sleeves. It's not cold in the office where I work but there's always a draught; arm warmers are badly needed.

A real-life size toilet that was on display at the exhibition. The techniques used were crocheting, knitting, and embroidery. This work is called Vapaa-Vacant, made by Liisa Hietanen and it's on display at Sinkka, Kerava.
