Hankin Eurokankaasta palan liukuestemattoa, leikkasin kaksi 20 cm x 20 cm kokoista palaa matosta ja virkkasin sinisellä puuvillalangalla palat yhteen. Sillipurkkia en tällä saanut auki kuitenkaan; ko.purkki vaati järeämmät "aseet".
There were nice instructions in Madame B.C.'s blog on how to construct a home-made jar opener. What you need is a piece of anti-slip mat and some crocheting yarn. I cut two 20 x 20 cm pieces from the anti-slip mat and crocheted them together with blue yarn. I already tried it on a jar of pickled herring but I couldn't get the lid open - it required sturdier tools.
